This is our first year at Ault and it has been a nightmare. My 5th grader is regularly bullied on the bus and the administration does NOTHING. They say they are going to but the fact is any plan of action is only as good as its follow through and they have none. When I ask them to handle it accordingly its as if they are put out that I am asking them to do their job! Additionally my son has a 504 plan and certain accommodations they regularly don't follow. And lastly--my 1st grader got a concussion by face planting off the monkey bars. Why on earth there are still school with playground equipment that doctors and EMT's tell them repeatedly is a hazard is beyond me but if you're going to have it at least have your teachers monitor it. She blacked out and no one could tell us how long because there was no teacher around. Another child had to run and get one when they saw her lying face down in the mulch. Total unacceptable. Makes me want to move altogether.

All 3 of my kids have gone to Ault and love the school. I can tell the teachers are involved and my kids really like learning there. Fairfield is a great family neighborhood and support the teachers and schools. I feel guilty I haven't been able to participate more in school activities. I do feel lucky to have such great neighbors that support the school and children activities.

They make the students carry very large, oversized back pack loads. Little elem kids are carrying 20-30lbs b/c the school won't keep their notebooks and large REQUIRED binders? Never seen anything like it. They could keep everything in plastic boxes but won't Our kid is leaning back as he walks! The notes that go home are either late or just 1 day in advance. And the dates on them are usually wrong. They frequently change dates to correct them. disorganized school and wouldn't suggest anyone move to the area to attend a cy fair school. no no no.

It's old and looks that way. Limited play equipment on the playground. In a few years it will look run-down. I have seen some older schools in much better condition. Front office staff is stuck-up - one woman with very large hair, in particular. She actually left me holding very heavy bags for a PTO luncheon for faculty while she sat with an IT guy. She saw me because she told me to "hold on". A good 5+ minutes later (and a line forming) the IT guy told her to help me and she rolled her eyes, let out a huff and said, "What's that for?". He was showing her how to get online - hardly worth making someone wait. We were never thanked so we won't give for that again. Some PTO are really splendid, polite parents but the overall feeling is they want lots of money and time. Heaven forbid you work and earn money to give them. Teachers are average.Sometimes we don't get a response at all when we email. But, they sure are quick in using the texting app to ask for things! We know a teacher in the district and she said how the teachers behave isn't normal. So maybe we just have had bad luck so far? Student says school is "ok" but loved the last one. Maybe next year will be better?

My daughter loves this school and she is learning a lot more than what she did at 2 previous schools (one was a Christian private school). As a parent, I have no complaints.

Ault Elementary is not a great school far from it. there is a real sense of indifference as soon as you enter the office with an exception to the front receptionist she should be running this school. The teachers are great no problems there the problem is the upper staff principal who doesn't listen to anything complains about misconduct by teachers some need a class in addressing other parents. Diversity in the office and around would change the uptight gross feel of this school we are not in the sixties anymore wake up!

All three of my children attended Ault. It is a fabulous school. We moved away a year ago and my children have had a hard time adjusting to the new school. We really miss Ault.

This school is great. The teachers care about students and parents are very involved. If you have a question teachers are prompt to answer all your questions. I am so blessed to have found this school. My daughter is now in 1st grade. She was having problems with math, spoke with her teacher and together we worked to get her grade up. Ms Cunningham and Ms Aldride are great.

I love Ault. Parent involvement is wonderful. I enjoy being able to help out the school whenever I can. My daughter loves and adores her teachers. Her teachers always respond through email and notes home. They encourage and inspire her to make the grades that she does. I love Ault !

We absolutly love this school, it is to bad they are changing our students to the new school opening in 2009. My daughter has adjusted well, and we as parents would like the school district to grandfather these children into Ault and send all new students to the new elementary school. Some children do not adjust well to changes and some parents are afraid that the children will stress out and not make the excellent grades they are capable of making. Sorry to hear about the p.e. teacher retiring at the end of the school year!!

We have been completely dissatisfied with our experience at ault. We moved into fairfield excited for our children to enroll at this school. The classes are very crowded, the military structure is over the top for each grade level, there is no one on one for students and teachers, the open room concept policy is horrible. When the kids go to art, music and pe they go 5 classes at a time. My son has even shown me how to do jumping jacks sitting down that he learned in pe. Of course they can't run around in pe b/c there are a total of 100 kids in the gym. We ran into a pe teacher outside of school and she didn't even know any of my kids names. With all this being said, i am currently researching private schools to get them out of this enviroment. Total chaos!

We moved from Louisiana last summer and we enrolled my daughter in Ault. She has adjusted well. The faculty and staff are great, and they welcome parent involvement. They sponsor family-oriented activities. The teachers strive to keep an open line of communication with the parents. I believe my daughter is getting a quality education.

Ault Elementary is the best school i could ever imagined sending my kids to. The teachers care about our kids education and if there is any concerns they address the issue very quick. I love this school for my kids because everybody puts their part (teachers, parents and principals) its like they all work together to make it an exemplary school! Its the best! cant find better words to express it other then its the best! not even when i was growing up with my mom being so involved in school. I've never seen so many parents being so involved in their kids school and education.
