I'm currently going to Cypress Ranch. Im a sophomore this year and i love this school. The ambience is truly great, all the students are very welcoming and kind. Everyone is treated with respect and has a fair chance. If youre an athlete you will love our school, we have some of the best facilities in the whole district and guarantee, you'll love it here.

My daughter was a 2011 Cypress Ranch graduate. She was very involved in everything offered, such as: Drill Team, National Honors Society, Key Club, Spanish Club, No Place for Hate. She had amazing teachers most of whom she is still in contact with. My daughter did not have time to get involved with drugs. Drugs are everywhere and are a choice. Life is about choices . . . . . you must choose to make the right choices. I think the community is under the assumption that it is the school's job to enforce the dress code (clothing purchased by the parent), raise the children, discipline the children, feed the children, etc. Whatever happened to school being about teaching!!!! A school is a learning institution. The rest must be done at home.

My son attended Cy Ranch for 2 years. The drug problem was so bad that I removed him from the school and put him in a private academy. Problem solved!

Cypress Ranch HS is a really good school. We are fortunate to go there. The teachers and administrative staff are nice and helpful. The student GPA academics are very competitive here, which is good. I have graduated from CFISD many decades ago, CFISD has changed. I can see night and day the difference between this HS and some of the other HS. I would definitely recomend it.

Okay, so I had this really nice review and all typed, but it was too many words, so here's a summary of it. Drugs do exist at Ranch, the school just doesn't look for them and the kids know how to keep out of trouble concerning them. Academics are becoming worse every year as the school tries to make itself look better by lowering the standards for honors courses, which in turn makes the classes simple and repetitive The teachers are either really good or really bad, no real alright. The budget is based like most schools: athletics before academics. There are also clear priorities between academic competitions. There is also plenty of bad feelings from the administration, parents, and students at the school towards the Gay Straight Alliance, to the point where it's sponsor was fired. So this school isn't as amazing as everyone says. Personally, I hate it. (and I am a FORMER student, I now attend TAMS at UNT)

Unlike other schools, fights and drug related problems are rather non-existent. Cypress Ranch has been mentioned several times as an excellent school academically, even though their sporting teams lose a fair amount of games to other schools in the district. Awesome school, people are friendly and I love it!

Fantastic school....this school has made my son's high school experience a positive one. We could absolutely not ask for a better education/college prep for him.

Now with 9-11 graders, this small public school is doing everything right, even with a smaller budget. The faculty and staff are committed to a quality education for every student.

Ranch is a brand new school (in it's 2nd year) and is need of new equipment, books, etc. I have three children, my oldest attends this school - and I am impressed daily by the wonderful staff and students at this school. They deserve an extra boost!!

My daughter attends Cypress Ranch High School and we could not be more pleased with this school. Their is an open communication between the parents and teachers. The learning environment is excellent and for the most part is filled with polite, respectful kids. The Ranch sits on a huge campus that also includes the Elementary school, Warner and the Middle school, Smith. All three schools are basically brand new and are located in an area that has a small town feel to it.

I went to cypress woods last year, and the overall standard that students are held to are not even close. The teachers and coaches at cypress ranch(which faculty call 'the ranch') are on the highest level I have ever been around. On top of that, the kids are the best in the district. Very mature and well-mannered.
